Alpha
This was the Alpha group last night. After dinner, we watch the movie and split off into 2 different goups for discussion.
Last night was on Jesus Christ's death - why did he have to die? This really was great to talk about in the groups. One struggle in the group I was in was with the idea of guilt & where that comes into the Christian life. After we become Christians is it right to feel guilty even though Jesus took our sins on the cross? This was something some people were wrestling with, as well as the different between guilt and conviction. What are your thoughts? How would you approach a new christian struggling with this?

Those are really good questions. I would say that some guilt is a good thing ina new christians life because without pain it is hard top truly grow (my opinion). It is also a good thing because it keeps us humble and humility is what God wants for our life. Those are my two cents let me know if I am wrong.
