Sick and Tired
The world abounds with myriad possibilities. But when you are sick it seems like everything is covered in Molasses, everything moves slower, every sound seems denser, every move requires more effort, every word demands greater thought.
And here I am in a molasses covered world trying to determine nuances in language that require the subtlety and sharpness of a scalpel in a surgeons hands.
I find myself in this position because of our whirlwind weekend drive to Camrose and back to Langley. Five days of driving, shmoozing, rehearsing, eating, partying, dressing, ceremonying, shmoozing, picture taking, shmoozing, receptioning, shmoozing, driving, sleeping (note that this only comes in here briefly), driving, driving, and shmoozing.
I am a little tired and as a result I have gotten sick. But, despite my personal agony the weekend was a success. My brother Dallas got hitched to his beautiful new bride Sara. The day was great and Ashlee took some fantastic pictures. She was a little under the gun but she came through and the pictures are great. We don't have any to post yet, but we will soon. My cousin has a farm outside of Camrose and the wedding party went out there for some pictures. They had an only open carriage and then a saddled horse for the pictures overlooking the valley and the Battle River. It was awesome.
Being sick, my brain isn't working right...so if you have any questions let me know... I will try and fill in some more details later.
