I don't know... something witty.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to be funny? Probably not, most of you aren't.

Well, if you are still reading than I guess you do have a sense of humour or maybe you just like Ashlee enough to put up with me. Either way, thanks for checking things out. You know, it has been over two months since the last blog entry. Wow, I totally dropped the ball. I don't actually know how many people even read this thing.

Lets give you a bit of an update:

I finished my formal work with HomeChurch at the end of December. I am now just some shmuck in a seat who gives his tithes and tries to help out when the schedule allows. Ashlee has led music two Sundays now and is looking to doing so every three month's for the time being. I have been continuing to lead my men's group and participate in the leadership team meetings. It has been a good shift.

Most of the people at the church still call me Pastor, which is o.k. Ashlee and I have been trying to figure out the rest of life, so it is nice that work with the Church came to a close. I got my thesis proposal passed and so I am now just trying to write the thing. It takes some work, but I am hoping to have things done in the next three months.

What else do you want to know. No - we are not expecting, though it seems that everyone we know is or have had their baby; No - I still can't move objects with my mind; Yes - We have a new vehicle that is working great for us; Yes - I have applied for a job; No - I am not telling anyone what it is...

HMMMmmm.

My men's group has been great. There is a guy who attends, his name is Tom, he is 48 and has struggled through some big stuff. I appreciate his candor, fervour, honesty and friendship.

Ashlee is a wreck somedays because her best friend from out here has moved, but yesterday she exhibited some mannerisms that reminded me of Andrea, I told Ashlee so and it made her smile, which is always good.

I will think of more stuff to write soon, I hope. thanks for all your love and support.

Jeff

Just to let you know that I have appreciated your work with Home Church. I have come to be acquainted with some of the young men and women you fellowship with and am encouraged by their passion for sharing Christ and maturing and growing the fellowship of believers at Home Church.
Love mom

Yay! An update. I've been checking this blog everyday and finally there is something new there! This is SO exciting! And now I have some very pointed questions I need to ask my sister. ;-)
