On the 24th of September our church celebrated its 4th birthday with an outdoor community service extravaganza. We offered free haircuts and massages to anyone who wanted them, free clothing through a local ministry calls 'Clothes 2 You', budget and job counselling, health and fitness counselling, and even feautured a live band. We estimate that over 200 people attended the event and were blessed in some way by the event. One of the most popular tents was our "connectivity tent" where members of the church took the opportunity to meet with people in the community share a snack with them and offer prayer.





The following day we had a birthday celelbration BBQ and softball game where my [Jeff] team the "Black Squirrels" beat Ashlee's team the "Cowbells" after 6 innings with a score of 18 to 15. It was a great day.

Since then I have been busy planning for my first lessons of each of my studies and things are off to a good start.

As well, I would like to thank any of you who have supported us financially. We are at 50% of our total needs. What this means is that we are off toa great start but it also means that we have a ways to go.

Thank-you also for your prayers as Ashlee and I have had a resolution to our transportation problem. A gentlemen who works with a friend of ours heard about our vehicle plight and has blessed us by giving is his old car. Now it is no dream machine but it doesn't leak inside the vehicle when it rains. So this is good.
